CHIEFBRAIN

Terms of Service

Last updated 15 August 2026 · Light Within Life PTE. LTD., Singapore

This is the agreement between you and the company behind ChiefBrain. It's written to describe what the product actually does — the same standard we hold the Privacy Policy to. Where something isn't settled yet, it says so instead of borrowing language from someone else's contract.

1. Who this is with

ChiefBrain is operated by Light Within Life PTE. LTD., registered in Singapore ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the product, you agree to these terms. If you're agreeing on behalf of a company, you're confirming you're allowed to.

2. What the product is

ChiefBrain gives you a desk that runs on our servers. You describe a task; it plans, does the work in its own isolated container, writes files into project folders, and reports back with receipts of what it actually did.

It is an early product and we're not going to dress that up. Things break, behaviour changes between releases, and features described today can change tomorrow. If a change removes something you depend on, tell us — that's useful to us.

3. Getting access

Access is currently by invitation. You join a queue, we invite in batches, and an invitation expires if it isn't claimed within 72 hours — after which you go back in the queue rather than being dropped. There is no way to buy your way past the queue right now.

4. Your account

5. Your content stays yours

The files you upload and the work the Brain produces for you are yours. We claim no ownership of them. We need a narrow, practical permission to run the service: to store your content, transmit it, send the relevant parts to a model in order to produce an answer, and show it back to you. That permission exists only to operate the product, and it ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not train models on your content. We don't have a training pipeline at all. Content sent to a model provider goes over their business API. What that provider does is governed by their terms, and we won't restate their promises as if they were ours — see the Privacy Policy for the full sub-processor list.

6. The Brain can be wrong

Output is generated by a language model. It can be wrong, out of date, or confidently mistaken. Receipts tell you what the run actually did — which files were written, how long it took — but they don't certify that the answer is correct.

Check anything before you act on it, and don't treat it as legal, medical, financial or tax advice. Irreversible actions — deleting files, sending things outside, spending money — are stopped by code until you confirm them, but the judgement is still yours.

7. Runs, quotas and plans

8. Paying

Refund terms are one of the items still with our counsel — see "Not yet settled" below. Until they're published, ask us and we'll deal with it case by case rather than hiding behind a clause.

9. What you agree not to do

10. Suspension and ending the agreement

We can suspend an account that's breaking section 9 or endangering other customers. Where the situation allows it, we'll say why and give you a chance to fix it first; where it doesn't — an active attack — we'll act first and explain after.

You can end this at any time by deleting your account from Settings. It runs immediately: your container, your files, your snapshots and your rows are removed, and you get an itemised list of what went. Read the Privacy Policy for the short list of records that survive and why.

11. Availability

There is no uptime guarantee. We don't offer an SLA, service credits, or a support response time beyond the one we actually keep: a person reads every message to support@chiefbrain.ai and replies within 24 hours. Everything today runs on a single host — planned maintenance and unplanned outages both mean the product is down for everyone.

12. Not yet settled

The clauses below carry legal effect and have to be drafted by a lawyer for the jurisdictions we operate in. Writing plausible-sounding versions ourselves and presenting them as reviewed would be worse than saying they're missing. Outstanding:

  • Governing law and the courts or forum where disputes are heard
  • Dispute resolution procedure before anything reaches a court
  • Limitation of liability and any cap on damages
  • Warranty disclaimers and indemnities
  • Refund and cancellation terms, including the annual plans
  • Our registered address and company registration number

Until these are published, we are not asserting any limitation on your rights, and nothing on this page overrides consumer protections that apply where you live.

13. Changes to these terms

The date at the top moves whenever the text does. For a change that materially affects what you're agreeing to — pricing structure, what we may do with your content, the missing clauses above once they land — we'll tell you rather than quietly editing the page. Continuing to use the product after that is how you accept it; if you'd rather not, delete the account.

14. Reaching us

support@chiefbrain.ai — including for anything in this document that reads as unclear or unfair. If a term here doesn't match how the product behaves, that's a defect on our side and we want to know.
